Types of Manuscript

Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Technology Information (JAITI) accepts several types of scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the development of Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Science, and related interdisciplinary fields. Authors should select the manuscript type that best represents the purpose, methodology, and contribution of their work.

Types of Manuscript
Manuscript categories accepted by JAITI
1. Original Research Article

Original Research Articles present novel research findings supported by appropriate theoretical foundations, research methods, analysis, and discussion. The manuscript should demonstrate a clear scientific contribution and provide sufficient methodological detail to support the validity and reproducibility of the research.

Suitable for: new methods, algorithms, models, systems, experiments, empirical studies, applications, and technology development.
2. Review Article

Review Articles provide a comprehensive and critical examination of existing research on a specific topic within the journal's scope. Reviews should synthesize relevant literature, identify research trends and gaps, critically evaluate existing approaches, and provide meaningful directions for future research.

Suitable for: systematic reviews, literature reviews, structured reviews, and critical reviews of emerging technologies and research methods.
3. Case Study

Case Study manuscripts present detailed investigations of the implementation, application, evaluation, or impact of information technology and artificial intelligence in a specific organizational, industrial, social, educational, or other real-world context.

Suitable for: real-world system implementation, organizational applications, technology evaluation, and domain-specific AI applications.
4. Technical or Methodological Article

Technical or Methodological Articles introduce, develop, modify, or evaluate methods, algorithms, computational techniques, frameworks, models, architectures, or technical procedures relevant to artificial intelligence and information technology.

Suitable for: new algorithms, computational models, optimization methods, decision-making methods, software architectures, and evaluation techniques.
5. Short Communication

Short Communications present concise but significant research findings, preliminary results, technical observations, or emerging developments that warrant rapid scholarly dissemination. The manuscript should contain a clear research contribution despite its shorter format.

6. Application and System Development Article

This manuscript type focuses on the design, development, implementation, testing, and evaluation of software, intelligent systems, information systems, computational platforms, or technology-based solutions. Submissions should provide sufficient technical detail and demonstrate the significance of the developed system.

Manuscript Selection

Authors should clearly identify the manuscript type during submission. The editorial team may determine the most appropriate category based on the manuscript's content, structure, methodology, and scientific contribution. Regardless of manuscript type, all submissions must comply with JAITI's editorial policies, publication ethics, formatting requirements, and peer-review procedures.
