Pengembangan Framework Business Intelligence Berbasis Open Source di Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi
Abstract
Pengembangan solusi Business Intelligence (BI) berbasis open source semakin relevan untuk institusi akademik di Indonesia guna mengatasi masalah tingginya biaya BI komersial dan sulitnya mengintegrasikan sistem informasi lama (legacy systems). Makalah ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan framework BI open source yang disesuaikan dengan arsitektur data perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan pengguna (melibatkan 15 responden pemangku kepentingan), desain arsitektur integrasi, serta evaluasi implementasi. Hasil penerapan menunjukkan bahwa framework yang diusulkan—menggunakan PostgreSQL, Talend, dan Metabase/Apache Superset yang terintegrasi Single Sign-On (SSO)—berhasil memangkas waktu penyusunan laporan operasional hingga 70% dan meningkatkan aksesibilitas data. Temuan utama menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan adopsi BI open source tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh integrasi teknologi, tetapi sangat bergantung pada manajemen perubahan dan literasi data pengguna. Studi ini berkontribusi memberikan model arsitektur tata kelola data yang aman, hemat biaya, dan siap direplikasi oleh sektor pendidikan tinggi.
