Authorship

Authorship Criteria

CHAIN: Journal of Computer Technology, Computer Engineering, and Informatics recognizes authorship based on substantial intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript. All individuals listed as authors must meet the following criteria:

  1. Substantial Contribution: The individual has made a significant contribution to the conception or design of the study, acquisition of data, analysis, interpretation of results, development of methods, or other substantial aspects of the research.
  2. Manuscript Preparation: The individual has contributed to drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
  3. Approval of the Final Version: The individual has reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript before submission and publication.
  4. Accountability: The individual agrees to be accountable for all aspects of the work and to ensure that questions related to the accuracy, integrity, or validity of the research are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Important: Individuals who contribute to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria should not be listed as authors. Their contributions may instead be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section, where appropriate.

All authors are expected to disclose their individual contributions through a CRediT Authorship Contribution Statement. Changes to the authorship, including the addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors, should be agreed upon by all authors and communicated to the editorial office before publication.
