Journal Update Information

This section provides important announcements and updates regarding editorial policies, journal management, publication format, and other developments related to CHAIN: Journal of Computer Technology, Computer Engineering and Informatics.
Update Information (Template Update)
15 August 2026
To improve transparency, research integrity, and compliance with international publishing standards, the journal has updated its article template. The updated template will be mandatory for all articles submitted for publication starting from the October 2026 issue. Authors are now required to include the following statements in their manuscripts, where applicable:
CRediT Authorship Contribution Statement
Declaration of Competing Interest
Funding Statements
Declaration of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies in the Writing Process
Authors should ensure that these statements are included in the appropriate section of the manuscript before submission. The updated template must be used for all new submissions intended for publication from the January 2027 issue onward.
Manuscripts submitted using an outdated template may be returned to the authors for formatting revision before entering the review process.
Update Information [10 January 2023]

Starting from Volume 1 Number 2 Year 2023, CHAIN: Journal of Computer Technology, Computer Engineering and Informatics implemented an update to the article header format.

The updated article header includes additional journal identity information, including the official journal URL, Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and journal logo. This improvement aims to strengthen article identification, improve publication visibility, and support better metadata recognition for published articles.

Update Information [09 December 2024]

Effective from 09 December 2024, CHAIN: Journal of Computer Technology, Computer Engineering and Informatics announced a change in the position of Editor-in-Chief.

The position of Editor-in-Chief previously held by Setiawansyah, M.Kom. has been transferred to Adhie Thyo Priandika, M.Kom. This transition is part of the journal's continuous effort to strengthen editorial management, maintain publication quality, and support sustainable development of the journal.
