Archiving
CHAIN: Journal of Computer Technology, Computer Engineering, and Informatics is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published scholarly content. The journal maintains an electronic archiving policy to protect published articles against accidental loss and to ensure continued access to the scholarly record.
All published articles, including their bibliographic information, full-text files, metadata, and associated publication records, are preserved in the journal's digital archive. The archived content is maintained in its published form and remains accessible to readers for academic, research, and reference purposes.
Digital Preservation: CHAIN maintains appropriate backups of its journal content and publication data to reduce the risk of permanent loss caused by technical failures, system changes, or other unforeseen events.
The journal also supports the preservation of published content through appropriate digital repositories and long-term archiving services where available. Archiving arrangements may be updated periodically to ensure that published materials remain accessible as technology and digital preservation practices evolve.
In the event that the journal's website or publishing platform becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable, reasonable measures will be taken to restore access to the archived scholarly content and preserve the continuity of the journal's publication record.
Published articles remain part of the permanent scholarly record. Where an article is corrected or retracted, the relevant editorial notices and status information will be preserved together with the original publication record to maintain transparency and traceability.
CHAIN is committed to preserving its published content responsibly and to maintaining reliable long-term access for authors, researchers, readers, and the wider academic community.
